Previous: The Telescope Track
The simple physical model makes some assumptions about the Telescope moving.
- Pitch can be determined by the relative height difference in front and
back wheels on the right hand A-frame and that the telescope Pitches
around the front or back end of each A-frame.
- Roll can be determined by the difference in height between the two
A frames, and that the Telescope Rolls around one or the other end
of the elevation axis.
- That the Telescope yaws around the centre of the elevation axis,
and that the yaw is defined by the difference in pitch between
A-frames.
These assumptions can be applied to the Model of the track Surface
to obtain the roll pitch and yaw corrections for each azimuth.
