The RMS criteria we use is +15 to -15 degrees either side and then calculate the rms using not the mean of the whole 360 or the mean of the 30 degree segment but using the centre point of each segment as the mean. Peaks caused by junctions are approximated to the last flat track value on the assumption that a fivepoint would be rejected if it was taken across a junction.
