The antenna was moved such that
wheel 1 rolled over 2 shims and wheel 2 rolled over one, and the tilts of
the Right A-frame were measured by the inclinometers (see Fig.10).
The measured
tilts were 2.45
, 2.81
, and 2.89
, respectively,
giving a
mean of 2.72
+ 0.23, compared with an expected
2.96
.
Within the errors these data are consistent, or yield a transmission of wheel
motion to A-frame tilt of 0.92 + 0.10.
(We must assume that such relations hold for the L-Aframe also - we did not
repeat these experiments for that side of the antenna.)
