JCMT Observing time allocations

Under normal conditions "semesters" are six months in length; an "A" semester runs from February through July inclusive, and a "B" semester occupies August through January. Thus, for example, semester 04B runs from August 1st 2004 to January 31st 2005 whilst semester 04A runs from February 1st 2004 through July 31st 2004.
