Allsky Pointing & Transit tracking on g343.0 (el*=27)

Summary
The weather wasn't really good enough for these tests of the recently installed corrective algorithm. As a result neither experiment was definitive, and the algorithm and the pointing model remain unchanged.

The tracking experiment on g343.0 (el*=27) is shown below

The seeing was reported as about 0.3". The elevation data show a -3" step at transit : although close inspection reveals it to have occurred somewhat earlier, possibly casting some doubt on the more obvious interpretion that the algorithm has overcorrected the 'transit' problem.

The allsky pointing is shown below :

The data show no obvious systematic problems with the model, but with such large rms scatters (2" & 3") there is little that can be done with the data. The reported seeing of ~0.3" clearly underestimates all the atmospheric effects occurring tonight.

Repeats of both these experiments will be necessary.
