During the course of the past few nights' regular observing with SCUBA
and RxA3i, the following data were gathered :

-
The SCUBA data do not exhibit the ~1.4" rms in each coordinate
expected from the last model update on
20020410.
Azimuth residuals in the
north and in the morning are negative cf. azimuth
residuals in the south and in the evening !!
- RXA azimuth residuals show a v. strong trend with elevation
(top, centre panel) - confirming the results found on
20020410.
16 Apr 2002
6 data with RxB have insufficient elevation coverage
to say at this stage whether a similar trend affects RxB data also.
17 Apr 2002
8 data with RxB, in the elevation range 30-80
show a similar trend to RxA in the daz-vs-elevation diagram (upper
centre), although they also show a similar trend in the del-vs-elevation
plot (centre).
21 Apr 2002
16 data with RxB, in the elevation range 30-70
show no sign of the daz-vs-el trend seen above; rms in daz = 2.1".
22 Apr 2002
18 data with RxA, in the elevation range 25-70
show no sign of the daz-vs-el trend seen above; rms in daz = 1.9".
23 Apr 2002
. . . although there are still some inexplicable trends of the
pointing residuals with time (20 RxA data).
