Transit Inclinometry : over and under the pole

Transit Inclinometry was done using pseudo-sources at declinations of -60o10', as is usual, and, for the first time, at a declination of +75o30', *below* the (north) pole. The first measure suggests a transit step size of about 2" (somewhat less than previous measures), but the second measure suggests a value more like 8" - see the latest entry in the archive.

This latter value would seem to be rather in conflict with the decent transit tracking (of real sources) - such as of Uranus, at an elevation of approx. 60o, on 23 Apr and 05 Aug, and, in particular, of the northern source 0133+476 on 26 Sep, where approx. 3" steps should be seen at transit if the modelled step was in such error.

Repeats will be requested, but, as may be imagined, there would be serious consequences of the step size varying as a function of elevation and/or direction of motion.
