20030301 report
CW Inclinometry, OK
Inclinometry was done as follows :
Datasets El Dirn HST mean leg temperatures Humidity
start start middle end %
( 20030209 90 cw 10:15 3.0 4.0 5.0 15 )
20030228 90 cw 10:30 - - - -
20030301 90 cw 10:21 -4.1 -3.0 -2.1 40
The tilt data from the X-axis of the TMU inclinometer was no good
for most of the run of the 28th - see
plot,
so a repeat was requested. (NTM discoverd the FILTER switch setting
to be ON instead of OFF on 03 Mar, which may explain the odd behaviour).
The data of 01 Mar were fine until v.near the end when the
temperature data from the TMU inclinometer went occasionally wild.
These errors were massaged away before
temperature corrections were applied to the tilt readings.
The resulting model is compared with previous model -- the one
taken on 09 Feb :
The data are only in minor ways different from those of the
09th and are used to create a
new track model.
The most significant feature is a 3" glitch at azimuth 154;
origin unknown. I have not attempted to eliminate it from the
data.

The differences in
(F1,F2,F3)
are described by the rms scatters of
(0.32", 0.45", 0.28")
c.f.
(0.25", 0.40", 0.54")
previously.
-
Updates have been made to the plots of
symmetry
and
strain gauge data.
All looks OK.
-
The model was installed at 10:00 HST on 03 Mar 2003.
