20040512 report

CW & CCW Inclinometry OK

Inclinometry was done as follows :

Datasets El Dirn HST mean leg temperatures Humidity
                          start start middle end %
  ( 20040430 90 cw 22:19 3.2 2.7 2.4 90)
    20040512 90 cw 22:55 5.7 5.0 4.3 65
    20040515 90 ccw 23:30 5.6 5.0 4.6 100

All data channels of the inclinometry data look OK. The resulting CW model is compared below with the current one - that taken on 30 Apr :

  • The differences in (F1,F2,F3) between these two CW models look essentially free of systematics, and are described by the rms scatters of (0.37", 0.14", 0.36") cf (0.40", 0.30", 0.35") previously.
  • The new CW model was not used - the delay in implementation is long and further new data will be obtained soon.
  • Records of the symmetry and strain gauge data have been updated; all looks fine.

The CW and CCW models (of the 12th and 15th) are compared below:

  • The CW-CCW difference looks v. similar to those obtained previously (see the last lot on 22 March, for instance). However, given the 3 day interlude between its component parts, we will also not add this contribution to the CW-CCW template.
