20050106 report

CW & CCW Inclinometry, OK

Inclinometry was done as follows :

Datasets El Dirn HST mean leg temperatures Humidity
                          start start middle end %
  ( 20041230 90 cw 23:59 3.3 3.4 3.5 30 )
    20050106 90 cw 22:00 -1.5 -1.6 -1.6 60
    20050107 90 ccw 02:00 -1.6 -1.7 -1.6 45

All data channels look OK; the difference between the CW model resulting from the new CW data and the current one (of 30 Dec) is shown below:

  • The differences in (F1,F2,F3) are described by rms scatters of (0.38", 0.89", 0.75") c.f. (0.28", 0.13", 0.28") previously.
  • The new CW model was merged with the (CW-CCW) template to create a new hybrid track model, which was installed at HST 10:00 on 07 January 2005.
  • The symmetry (defined here) remains at an elevated level. As last time, however, the explanation cannot be underloading of the front wheels, since the wheel loads - as judged from strain gauge No.2 only - are OK. (Strain gauge No.1 remains inoperative).

The CCW data will be examined in the next report
