20050915 report

CW, CCW Inclinometry. CW-CCW template updated.

Inclinometry was done as follows :

Datasets El Dirn HST mean leg temperatures Humidity
                          start start middle end %
  ( 20050118 90 cw 22:09 5.5 5.1 4.9 80
    20050119 90 ccw 00:56 4.9 4.7 4.6 80 )
    20050915 89 cw 00:33 6.6 6.4 6.1 100
    20050915 89 ccw 03:43 6.1 5.8 5.8 100

All inclinometry and temperature data channels look; Ch13 - the #1 strain gauge - is still not functional.

The difference between the CW model resulting from these new data and the previous one of 14 Sep is shown below:

The differences are v.small and (F1,F2,F3) are described by rms scatters of (0.12", 0.14", 0.26") c.f. (0.32", 0.25", 0.36") previously.

The difference between the new CW and CCW models is shown below:

It looks similar to the previous CW-CCW difference - of 18/19 January. The spike at az=438 has been removed by interpolation with an uncertainty of 1-2 arcseconds.

The difference between this (CW-CCW) difference and that of the 18/19 Jan CW-CCW difference is shown below :

The large tail in the F3 difference reflects an early start to data acquisition in one data-pair or the other. Even including this segment the differences in (F1,F2,F3) are described by rms scatters of (0.41", 0.18", 0.47") cf. (0.48", 0.28", 0.39") for the previous difference (18/19 Jan - 06 Jan).

The new data-pair-difference are added to those of January 06/07 and 18/19 CW/CCW to update the 2005 CW-CCW template.
