20051015 report

CW inclinometry OK

Inclinometry was done as follows :

Datasets El Dirn HST mean leg temperatures Humidity
                          start start middle end %
  ( 20050915 89 cw 00:33 6.6 6.4 6.1 100 )
    20051015 89 cw 10:28

All inclinometry and temperature data channels look; Ch13 - the #1 strain gauge - is still not functional.

The difference between the CW model resulting from these new data and the previous one of 15 Sep is shown below:

  • The -3" spike in F1 at 36.09 degrees is removed a posteriori by interpolation.

  • The differences are v.small and (F1,F2,F3) are described by rms scatters of (0.34", 0.44", 0.44") c.f. (0.32", 0.25", 0.36") in the previous comparison of models separated by more than 1 day.

  • The new CW model was merged with the (CW-CCW) template to create a hybrid track model, which was installed at HST 14:50 on 17 October 2005.

  • The symmetry (defined here) and the wheel loads remain OK.
