20071223 report
CW & CCW inclinometry OK
Inclinometry was performed as follows:
Datasets El Dirn HST mean leg temperatures Humidity
start start middle end %
( 20071125 88.8 cw ~08:00 2.2 2.7 3.5 20
20071125 88.8 ccw ~10:45 3.5 4.1 4.6 16 )
20071223 89 cw ~07:30 0.7 0.8 1.0 75
20071223 89 ccw ~07:30 1.0 1.6 2.4 75
Data is recorded from the 3 active inclinometers and one of the two
strain gauge channels. The LT trace is abnormally low, so the RT
data is used to correct LX & LY. TY is also +1000mV on average
and a tweak to the elevation used is necessary (web page instructions
amended 20071230).

The differences between the (CW) model derived from these new data
and the previous model of 25 Nov
are shown below:

-
The rms scatter in the differences in (F1,F2,F3) are
(0.31", 0.42", 0.41")
cf (0.59", 0.78", 0.65")
previously.

The difference between the CW and CCW models is shown below:
. . . and is of the 'small amplitude' type seen regularly this year.
The CW-CCW data were used to generate a
hybrid track model,
installed at ~HST 11:00 on 24 Dec 2007.
The symmetry remains OK;
strain gauge data show a little increase in loads.
