20090817 report

CW/CCW inclinometry updated

17 August 2009

This inclinometry run was carried out on 15th August.

Datasets El Dirn HST mean leg temperatures Humidity
                              start start middle end %

The new data are recorded from the 3 active inclinometers and one of the two strain gauge channels. The LT trace, which showed strange behaviour during the previous inclinometry run continues to show no problems.

  • The differences between the (CW) model derived from this run and the previous run on 1st August are shown below.

  • The resulting rms scatters in the differences in (F1,F2,F3) are (0.34", 0.38", 0.30") compared to (0.31", 0.25", 0.36") last time.

  • The CW-CCW profile is normal, and is used to generate a hybrid track model which was installed on the 16th August at 11:30.

  • The strain gauge analysis suggest the loading on the wheels continues to hold steady (see strain gauge data).
