CW/CCW inclinometry updated

15 September 2009

A routine inclinometry run was carried out this weekend with the following results.

Datasets El Dirn HST mean leg temperatures Humidity
                              start start middle end %
   (20090829 89 cw 05:45 7.1 7.0 7.2 90
    20090829 89 ccw 08:30 7.2 7.8 8.4 60)
    20090912 89 cw 05:45 7.4 7.5 7.9 7
    20090912 89 ccw 08:30 7.9 8.7 9.6 6

The new data are recorded from the 3 active inclinometers and one of the two strain gauge channels. all channels look normal.

  • The differences between the (CW) model derived from this run and the previous run on 29th August are shown below.

  • The resulting rms scatters in the differences in (F1,F2,F3) are (0.45", 0.67", 0.26") compared to (0.44", 0.36", 0.31") last time.

  • The CW-CCW profile is normal, and is used to generate a hybrid track model which was installed on the 14th September at 10:00.

  • The respective loadings on the wheels remains relatively stable with the load once again lightening on wheel 4 (see strain gauge data).
