981118 report

Cold Inclinometry restores symmetry

Summary
Bad weather last night allowed nighttime inclinometry to be taken. Fortuitously, the antenna leg temperatures were essentially constant throughout the 3 hours of data acquisition, at 1.9 deg C, potentially allowing production of The definitive track model. And why not ! The difference between these data and those taken on 981114 , is shown below :

The difference data show only the odd 2" joint-related excursion (at azimuths around 40) and yield formal rms scatters in (F1,F2,F3) of (0.84",0.19",0.43"). Significantly, both these datasets show good left-right symmetry . The new model was installed today.
