990830 report

First Inclinometry for 5 weeks - OK

SUMMARY
CW Inclinometry was taken during the day 30 Aug 1999. Changes since the last run on 26 July are minimal.

Datasets HST start mean leg temperatures Humidity
                               start middle end %
 ( inc990726 cw 11:30 2.8 3.8 4.6 50 )
   inc990830 cw 09:54 7.0 8.5 10.0 15

The differences between these clockwise models is shown below :

  • A spike at azimuth 380 was caused by someone walking on the antenna during the 990726 run.

  • The differences in (F1,F2,F3) have rms scatters of (0.55", 0.31", 0.30"), which are almost as small as these statistics go, and, given the great difference in ambient conditions prevailing on 990830 and 990726, supportive of the beneficial effects of the 3t loading of the front wheels.

  • A new track model was installed at 13:45 HST on 19990830.

Symmetry
The symmetry remains good : see the plot .
