Holography map Aug 14 2001 panel fitted errors
Panel fitted surface errors (Aug 14 2001)
Image of the total surface errors fitted to individual panels (Aug 14 2001). The
measurement was made between 23:00 and 01:00 hours.
Rms of the total surface errors, from holography, is 41 microns. Based on this map the dish was
readjusted on September 5 2001.
Note however that the above map does not include
systematic errors from the holography system itself, or from imperfections of the
panels such as surface roughness and scalloping.
