Holography map Oct 7 1999 large scale errors
Panel fitted surface errors (Nov 5 1999)
Image of the total surface errors fitted to individual panels (Nov 5 1999). The
measurement was made between 23:00 and 01:00 hours when the sky was too poor for normal
observing.
Rms of the total surface errors, from holography, is 17.0 microns.
Note however that the above map does not include
systematic errors from the holography system itself, or from imperfections of the
panels such as surface roughness and scalloping..
