Tests with different regridding parameters
Tests with different regridding parameters for 20020430-222641
Below are the results of some tests with different regridding parameters
made for the 80 GHz map 20020430-222641.
They show the difference of the frequency 5 and 0 (freq5 - freq0), with
changes of con.gridder_extent and
con.gridder_size for Gaussian regridding.
The defaults are size=1.0 and extent=4, and the maps show the changes for
size=1.3 and 1.5, and extent=6 and 8.
It seems that extent has no influence on the diagonal stripes, but size
has a strong influence, and for 1.5 the stripes disappear.
Using size=1.5, only the standing wave pattern is visible in the map:
