Holography map Sep 7 2001 large scale errors
Large scale surface errors (Sep 7 2001)
Image of the large scale errors of the JCMT dish on September 7 2001. The
measurement was made between 00:00 and 2:00 when the dish was thermally relaxed.
The rms of the large scale surface errors is 32 microns. The dish was last adjusted on
September 5 2001.
Note however that the above map does not include
systematic errors from the holography system itself, or from imperfections of the
panels such as surface roughness and scalloping.
