Temperatures, June-September 2004

Temperature Analysis, June - September 2004

The following plots show the temperature difference of coneheads, conebars, spinebars and backing structure between 2h12 and 0h6 HST, during which interval a 160 GHz map was made on 20040712.
It appears that when there are significant temperature changes, i.e. not a constant offset, the telescope has slewed to a different position in this time interval. E.g. on 20040706 the telescope stayed in the same part of the sky and the line is almost flat.
In the same way, also holography (slewing to 8.5 degrees elevation) affects the temperature distribution in the dish.

20040712 Holography 160 GHz 0h12 - 02h6

20040713 Open 19h

20040725 TMU fault, roof + doors probably open

20040728 Closed 1h30 - 2h15 (fog)
20040729 Open 19h
