ABSTRACT: "I will provide a brief overview of UKIRT's contribution to the field of cataclysmic variables over the past few years. A few recent examples and some exciting new results pertaining to the discovery of low mass brown dwarf-like secondary stars and starspot activity will be discussed. The next steps at UKIRT and at larger IR telescopes will be summarized."
