The Outer Disk: Evolution of Cold Gas and Dust

ABSTRACT: I will present some early results from ongoing single-dish and high resolution interferometric submillimeter studies of nearby circumstellar disks. The behavior of both the molecular gas and dust phases in the outer portions of disks are explored for various evolutionary and environmental (e.g. multiplicity) states.
