"Test-Driving HARP-B"
ABSTRACT: I will present a hands-on introduction to the HARP-B
control system, with an emphasis on the manual operation of the
reciever. Topics to be covered include: basic tuning, initial values,
state tables, tuning tables, I/V and IF/V curves, engineering graphs,
Trx measurements, and tuning curve characterization. Undead
demonstrations (like live demonstrations, but not using real hardware)
will be made using the real software running in simulation mode at the
JAC.
