"The Herschel Space Telescope"

ABSTRACT: Herschel is ESA's next space observatory. It is a far-infrared space telescope and is due to be launched next year. As an observatory it offers a wide range of capabilities and can be used for science ranging from solar system studies to cosmology. I will present details of the instruments, a glimpse at some of the science it will be able to do, and provide information on its current status and schedule.
