"Supermassive black holes at high redshift"
ABSTRACT:
In the talk, I will cover recent research progress using the AKARI
IR space telescope to study the mass evolution of supermassive black
holes in quasars at z > 4.5. I will also give an outline of a recently
approved project of mine to study the high redshift universe, and how
UKIRT can play an important role in this project.
