"Coronal Variability on RS CVn Binaries"

ABSTRACT:"Stellar activity on RS CVn binaries is extremely intense, with vast areas of the stars densely covered with active regions and starspots. The coronae of such stars undergo frequent large-scale flare events. I shall describe a number of multiwavelength studies of RS CVn and BY Dra binaries that include a range of radio, X-ray, EUV, and UV observations. The inter-relationships between variability in the different spectral regions will be illustrated. The statistics of flare energies and other properties will be presented."
