"UIST: An Imager Spectrometer for UKIRT"

ABSTRACT: "An overview of the design of the UIST spectrometer will be given. The instrument is being developed at the UK ATC and is due to be delivered to UKIRT in 2001. The scientific motivation for the instrument is to take advantage of the recent improvements in delivered images from the telescope and also to exploit the availability of the new 1024x1024 InSb arrays."
