"Probing Cosmic Star Formation History"
ABSTRACT: "Recent deep submm surveys using the SCUBA on JCMT have
revealed the presence of an entirely new population of very luminous and
extremely dusty high redshift galaxies and clearly demonstrated that a
significant fraction of star formation activity in the early universe may
be entirely missed by the optical and UV studies. I will describe how the
study of faint radio and submm sources can help constructing an unbiased
cosmic star formation history. I will also address why both radio and submm
studies are needed. "
