"HST Imaging of Young Stellar Object Disks and Jets"
ABSTRACT: "In the nearest star-forming regions, HST is providing
images of protoplanetary disks at 10 AU spatial resolution. I will present
WFPC2 and NICMOS results for a dozen young disks, and for some cases comparisons
of these data with millimeterwave CO maps, adaptive optics images, and
scattered light models. In addition to placing constraints on disk structural
parameters, the HST observations reveal unusual variability in the edge-on
disk of HH 30 and in the jet of XZ Tauri. The talk will conclude on the
subject of future directions in disk imaging research using SIRTF and NGST."
