The UHH Research Park includes the headquarters for the Joint Astronomy Centre, the Caltech Submillimeter Observatory, Subaru, Gemini, the Smithsonian
Submillimeter Array and the Institute for Astronomy, plus the astronomers
at the University of Hawaii at Hilo. We are one of the major centres for astronomy in the world and encourage all visiting astronomers to take advantage of the proximity of these
institutes, and give a seminar while visiting Hilo. Your talk will
be advertised at each of the above institutes.

Where and How:
JAC seminars are (usually) held in the second floor conference room
at the Joint Astronomy Centre, 660
N. A'ohoku Place, Hilo, Hawaii. Please note that access to JAC is possible
only through the main entrance (through the side doors facing Subaru). The back doors (towards Gemini) are usually locked.

Holly Thomas well in advance of the talk and she'll make sure it's switched
on!

If you are an observer at the JCMT you will be asked on your reservation form if you are interested in giving an informal seminar; if you select yes Holly will contact you to arrange it.
