CGS4 Current Status

> Present Configuration

The 40 and 150 l/mm gratings are currently installed in CGS4 along with the long focal length camera. This will be the configuration throughout 00B. Please see the CGS4 Peakup page  for current peakup rows.

> Future Configuration (Semester 01B)

The 40 l/mm and 150 l/mm gratings will be available with the long camera until the end of March 2001.  The current plan is to take CGS4 off the telescope during April 2001 and replace the 150 l/mm grating with the echelle. Therefore, the 40 l/mm grating and echelle will be available from May 2001.

Please see  the instrument availability page  for more information on the CGS4 configuration for 01A and for the availability of other UKIRT instruments.
