Optimum Orders for the Echelle

Reference Table of Echelle Orders

The following table of optimum orders for the Echelle grating is used by the software to automatically select the best order for a given wavelength. It is included here for reference and as a guide to which orders to explore if you need to use a lower or higher order. Calculation of optimum orders and the use of other orders are both discussed in the echelle section
