A Quick Summary Of Where To Find CGS4 Files
This is a quick glance list of directories where you can find your data.
In the follwing
UID = the user identity you use when the CGS4
software is run up.
NAME = the name you have saved something as.
yyyymmdd and yymmdd refer to the UT date your data was taken on - for
example 19980526 and 980526 repectively.
n is the observation number on a given night and
m is the integration number (there are usually 2-4 separate interleaved integrations for 1 observation).
guest is your guest account name.
On IRTCON:
-
Aquisition CONFIGS are in DISK$USERSPACE:[UID.CGS4CONFIG] They are called
NAME.AIM
-
EXECs are in DISK$USERSPACE:[UID.CGS4EXEC] They are called NAME.EXEC
On KIKI
-
Reduction Configurations are in /home/guest/cgs4dr_configs They
are called name.cred4
-
Raw integrations are in IDIR: i.e., /ukirtdata/cgs4_data/yyymmdd/idir
and have file names iyymmdd_n_m
-
Raw observations are in ODIR:, /ukirtdata/cgs4_data/yyyymmdd/odir
and have file names oyymmdd_m
-
Reduced observations are in RODIR:, /ukirtdata/cgs4_data/yyyymmdd/rodir
and have file names royymmdd_n
-
Reduced groups are in RGDIR:, /ukirtdata/cgs4_data/yyyymmdd/rgdir and
have file names rgyymmdd_n, where n is the observation number
of the first observation in the group.
-
If you have created a calibration file for wavelength calibration the file
cayymmdd is in RODIR:
-
If you have used the data reduction to define something as a standard,
the standard file styymmdd is in RGDIR:
-
If you have been dividing reduced groups by the spectrum of a standard
the ratioed image is called rgyymmdd_n_dbs.
In Hilo
-
In Hilo your data will have been copied to an identical directory structure
as KIKI.
