IRCAM/TUFTI Pixel Scale and Orientation

Date Array Orientation Plate Scale
  Degrees "/pixel
Sept 99 -89.04 +/- 0.30 0.08144 +/- 0.00004
June 01 -88.84 +/- 0.08 0.08117 +/- 0.00013

The IRCAM/TUFTI display currently shows (approximately) North to the right and East up; the array rows are slightly offset from true North-South as shown in the above table. The sense of the angle given in the table is: the array rows would have to be rotated about 1 degree anticlockwise, or to the East, to align them exactly North-South. With a full array readout the field of view is 20.8 arcseconds, a subarray with FOV of 10.4 arcseconds is also available for very short exposures, see Data Modes .
