WHAT YOU SHOULD SEE

Data taken with ARC controller (April 2007), and with the array in upside-down (note triangle feature on array is now at the bottom!).

1 second dark:
A standard short array-test dark.
Should see "zero counts".
.sdf file available here
100 second dark:
A standard long array-test dark.
Should see 15-20 counts.
.sdf file available here

4 second HK flat, 4 pix slit:
A standard HK spectroscopy flat.
Should see counts in range 1000-8000.
.sdf file available here
15 second HK arc, 4 pix slit:
A standard HK spectroscopy arc.
Should see strong, narrow (4-pixel wide) lines.
.sdf file available here

40 second short-K IFU flat:
A standard short-K IFU flat.
Should see counts in range 1000-8000.
.sdf file available here
30 second short-K IFU arc:
A standard short-K IFU arc.
Should see strong, narrow (2-pixel wide) lines.
.sdf file available here

Coronagraphic mask:
K-band Coron exposure.
Taken during day (night sky should be smoother).
.sdf file available here
Coronagraphic mask with IRPOL:
K-band Coron + Pol exposure.
Taken during day (night sky should be smoother).
.sdf file available here

THERMAL IMAGING

SATURATING:
High counts (25,000-30,000) top and bottom, with
low or maybe even negative counts in the middle.
NOT SATURATING:
Counts should be 10,000-25,000

WHAT YOU SHOULD NOT SEE

Disabled array data taken with ARC controller; all other images taken with old EDICT system, although the images should look the same if these problems re-occur.

Thermal gradient:
A bad 100 sec dark showing the gradient.
More details given here
Ice on the UIST window:
A daytime K-band image of inside of dark dome
Details on clearing ice given here

Image Rotator at 0 degrees:
For imaging should be at -90 degrees! Above can see vignetted corners, because the image rotator actually rotates by 45 degrees for every 90 (uses two folding mirrors).
Array disabled:
All zeros - Have forgotten to enable the array

Bad channel :
Low-frequency sine wave along every 8th column in two quadrants (from summer 2007 - SDF frame)
...
...

ENGINEERING (UCLIENT DATA)

Data taken with ARC controller (Dec 2006), though while still fixing boards, etc. (so striping in bottom-right quadrant not normal).
