Travel information

This meeting was held on March 15-19, 2004. All other information on this page is obsolete and the page is not being maintained.

The conference takes place on the Big Island of Hawaii. We recommend that you fly in to Kona International Airport (KOA). Alternatively, you can fly in to Hilo International Airport (ITO), but this is much further from the conference (about 90 miles).

The airport websites have further information, including details of ground transportation. Major car rental companies are available at the airports. Shuttle buses run from Kona airport to the hotel regularly - see the airport website for more information.

The travel page for the Waikoloa Beach Marriott provides directions for getting to the hotel.

Waikoloa is a 10-15 minute drive from the hotel. Kailua-Kona is a 20-30 minute drive away.
