01A, 01B, 02A and 02B, covering the period February 1, 2001 to January

The fault rate was unusually high in 2002. In semester 02A an entire night was
lost to a fault with the UFTI controller, complicated by communication
problems. This semester also suffered losses associated with MICHELLE (which
was still in shared-risk mode) and IRPOL. In semester 02B two complete
nights were lost to two separate telescope faults -- a drive connector and a
mirror support valve failed. There were also faults associated with MICHELLE,
UFTI and UIST (in shared-risk mode), in UFTI's case again compounded by
communication problems.
