Appendix A: Publications

A total of 65 refereed journal publications acknowledging UKIRT data were published in 2003 and 46 in 2004. The relatively low figure in 2004 may have numerous causes - the influx of new and unfamiliar Michelle data, the relatively high fault rate in the 2002 observing year (5-6%), the poor weather which afflicted many Michelle runs, etc.

The tables below show the 2003 and 2004 publications grouped by instrument, science content and journal. Some papers contain data contributed by more than one instrument on UKIRT; in such cases the contributions of the instruments are taken as equal.
