The UKIRT service observing programme

PLEASE NOTE: At the present time we are NOT accepting any new UKIRT Service proposals. Data will be obtained on a best-efforts basis for existing proposals (listed below). For further details, please contact the UKIRT Head of Operations, Tom Kerr, at ukirtserv@jach.hawaii.edu.

UKIRT's instruments are described in the main instrument pages (please note that when WFCAM is on the telescope, the cassegrain instruments are not available, and vice versa).

If you require more than 4 hours of telescope time, please consult the guidelines for submitting a full PATT proposal.
Please Acknowledge the UKIRT Service Observing programme in all publications that include service data.

WFCAM DATA: All WFCAM Service PIs MUST register their own projects with the WFCAM Science Archive (WSA). Note that WFCAM data are (usually) only available through the WSA. Full registration information is available here (WSA refer to service programmes as "non-survey"). You can register as soon as your programme has been accepted by the service observing programme.
