JAC Safety Manual - Manmods 18 Here is the eighteenth round of modifications made to the JAC Safety Manual as per the JAC Safety Committee Meeting of 24-September-03.  Note: Modifications to the front and back covers will appear in the hard copy versions only.

Any member of JAC staff whose job requires them to undertake the American Red Cross CPR and First Aid course and to administer first aid to JAC staff and visitors (generally the ETS Group and TSS's), may be reimbursed the costs of receiving the Hepatitis B vaccine. 
 9 - Mauna Kea Safety Policies - General

Staff may claim an allowance of $35 for the purchase of non-prescription UV blocking sunglasses. clip-on shades or lens tinting.Prescription eyewear for this purpose will be provided with the approval of the Site Safety Advisor. Should the eyewear require replacement, the allowance may be repeated with the approval of the Site Safety Advisor.
