All equipment will be used, cared for and maintained
in a safe manner. Only necessary, properly functioning and safe equipment
will be kept in work areas. Broken equipment awaiting repair should be
clearly marked with an Engineering and Technical Services (ETS) yellow
tag. These can only be issued by ETS staff. Outside normal working
hours a tag can be obtained by contacting an ETS staff member. |

staff are present. In order to achieve this at the summit we require staff
in the ETS and TSS groups to take first aid training.
revised: HIOSH 62-1 requires that in the absence of
an infirmary, clinic, or hospital in near proximity to the workplace which
is used for the treatment of all injured employees, a person or persons
shall be adequately trained to render first aid. Adequate first aid
supplies shall be readily available. In order to achieve this at
the summit we require staff in the ETS and TSS groups to take first aid
training. |
