Here is the twenty-sixth round of modifications made to the JAC Safety Manual as per the JAC Safety Committee Meeting of 19-July-2006.  Note: Modifications to the front and back covers will appear in the hardcopy versions only.

- Medical Emergencies - Policy: add paragraph: Employees not having formal first aid training must be instructed to maintain a "hands off" practice in the event of an emergency. These employees should contact the first aid responder as quickly as possible.

- After First Aid - 34d bullet - add to end of sentence:  Dispose of bandages, rags, and towels in a sealed bag and label as medical waste and consult the Site Safety Advisor on disposal.

J.2.a.iii.

Bomb Threats, Procedures
- remove this item as it is repetitious and re-number: The person making the threatening call could reveal enough information about themselves so that the recipient of the call could later identify the caller.  There have been cases wherein the caller has described the bombing device, given its location and stated the time that the device was to be detonated or ignited.
